Drivers Today are recruiting experienced and professional HGV1 Drivers for a busy trunking operation based in Skelmersdale (WN8 9DA). This is clean pallet network work on afternoon and night shifts, operating on a 4 on 4 off rolling shift pattern. Temp to perm opportunities are available for the right candidates.
This is a great chance for reliable drivers to secure consistent shifts and long-term employment in a modern, well-organised operation.
🔑 Key Duties:
Trunking work to pallet hubs and distribution centres
No handball – clean trailer swaps and bays
Operating on a structured 4 on 4 off shift rota
Completing all necessary documentation and complying with driver regulations
✅ Requirements:
Valid HGV1 / Class 1 (C+E) licence
CPC and Digi Tacho card
Minimum 6 months recent HGV1 experience (trunking preferred)
A positive, professional attitude and commitment to reliability
