HGV Class 1 Driver – Container Experience Required

Drivers Today is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Drivers with a background in container transport. This is a great opportunity for professional drivers looking for stable and ongoing work with a trusted company.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely transport containers to and from ports, depots, and distribution centers

Ensure all deliveries and collections are completed on time

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections

Secure loads correctly and comply with container handling regulations

Maintain accurate records and complete all required paperwork

Follow all road transport laws and company safety policies

Requirements:

Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) License

CPC & Digital Tachograph Card

Previous experience in container transport is essential

No more than six points on license (no DR or IN endorsements)

Strong knowledge of UK road networks and port procedures
